Tiyani Khoza: Persevere, never give up
MakaselaAir is a young Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Contractor established in 2010, with over six years of successful corporate, commercial and retail projects. It has two branches; one in Modderfontein which is the centre for its business in Gauteng, North West and the Northern Cape, and another in Phalaborwa which oversees its operations in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga regions.
The company specialises in designing, supplying, installing, and maintaining all types of HVAC systems for applications in residential, industrial and commercial buildings.
Company owner, Tiyani Khoza, says: “At MakaselaAir we believe there is a certain way of doing things – that is taking a consultative approach from the onset. Our services and technology are on the cutting edge of air-conditioning, but we keep a hands-on approach to relationships with our clients.”
The company is backed by young employees with extensive experience in the industry. It has grown its staff numbers from only three employees to 38.
Khoza’s vision to become a force to be reckoned with in the industry has only deepened as MakaselaAir is now a Samsung Direct Air Conditioning Dealer.
“Now, we are also able to provide the best prices to clients,” says Khoza. MakaselaAir is also affiliated with LG, Dunham Bush, Viking, Galanz, Ecoair and York, among others.
He adds: “With years of combined experience we are also able to offer guaranteed workmanship. We aim to provide unparalleled customer experience and one way we do this is by ensuring that, for all our projects, you also have a single point of contact.”
Khoza is as passionate about the environment as he is about excellent service. “At MakaselaAir we care about the impact that HVAC has on our shared environment.” The company adds value by promoting solutions with products that are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
To grow the business further and create even more job opportunities, Khoza realises the importance of applying everything learnt from being part of the Property Point programme to the day-to-day operations of the business.
“There are several opportunities opening up for us, but we will continue to make sure that we keep our clients happy and do each job to the best of our ability,” assures Khoza.
