Zenzele Sibanda: Keep trying and life opens doors for you

Zehlile Engineering & Projects CC began trading in 2005 with four staff members. Today, that number has grown to 15, under the leadership of Managing Director Zenzele Sibanda.

Focused on the electrical engineering sector, Zenzele has more than 14 years of public and private sector experience in electrical generation and distribution. “I have worked in many roles in the field, including technician, clerk of works, site agent and project manager. I am also a member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE), and registered Zehlile Engineering in 2007.”

Easy Security’s Managing Director Smart Kunene (a Property Point graduate and top performer) inspires Zenzele because, he says, “l saw him grow from humble beginnings to where he is today, the owner director of a multi-million Rand business.”

Based in Gauteng, Zenzele says the company promise is reliability, commitment and responsibility, and guarantees service excellence. “After overcoming the problems most SMEs face – funding, sourcing skilled personnel and transport – we focused on government jobs for a time. Now we are ready to take the business to the next level by managing opportunities, implementing our comprehensive marketing and sales plan and increasing our client base by venturing into the private sector.”

His goals now are to become a supplier of choice in the industry and be a “visible brand”, known for its commitment to excellence.
