How to Apply

Apply (two-year incubation programme)

If you’re ready to take your business to the next level then you’re at the right place! Our two year incubation programme is an intensive course for select SMEs.

Entrepreneurs need to meet certain requirements and go through a stringent application process which includes the following:

Application Form:

The application process starts with completing this application form  - we would need a functionality where applicants are able to upload their supporting documents In support of your application, please provide the Property Point team with the following supporting documents:

Complete Application Form
  • An updated company profile
  • Your BEE Certificate
  • A Tax Clearance Certificate

First round interview:

Candidates that successfully meet the criteria will be invited for an interview with the Property Point team. During this interview you’ll get the opportunity to showcase your business and tell us a bit more about what makes you tick.

Second round interviews:

Candidates that progress from the first round are invited to the second round interview with a panel of external decision makers. These include procurement specialists, facilities managers, and experts on entrepreneurship.

This interview will assess your entrepreneurial drive, your fit with the Property Point programme, and your SMEs growth potential.

Selection criteria:

To apply for our programme, your business must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Your enterprise must be at least 51% black owned according to the BBBEE Act of 2003.
  • Provide services in the property sector (including construction, cleaning, security, landscaping, air-conditioning, pest control, electrical services, plumbing services, fire services, waste management etc.)
  • It must have been operating for at least two consecutive years
  • Your business must be able to provide a track record of work completed, including references.
  • You must be based in or around the Johannesburg area.
  • Your enterprise should reflect an annual turnover of at least R 500k.

Completion

Should you not be contacted within 3 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful for this round of selections. You will, however be kept on our database for future consideration.
